This collaboration marks a significant milestone and the first time blockchain technology has been applied to the medical field on Bitkub Chain. Leading hospitals under Mahidol University, such as the Siriraj Hospital Network, are participating as partners. There are plans to expand this initiative to hospital networks under various medical institutions across the country and the Ministry of Public Health by connecting with the "Mor Prom" application.
Bitkub Chain will serve as the infrastructure provider on a dedicated Bitkub Chain Layer-2 specifically for healthcare and provide in-depth consultation on blockchain technology. This partnership will help develop medical data storage standards, encompassing tokenization, standardization, and the migration of HealthTAG's project data from the Polygon blockchain network to Bitkub Chain Layer-2. This marks the first real-world use case in the medical industry on Bitkub Chain.
Bitkub Chain Layer-2 stands out with its ability to handle a large number of users, addressing the scalability issues of traditional blockchains and enabling it to accommodate a higher volume of transactions. It also increases transaction speeds and offers lower gas fees, while also being easily adaptable to suit various projects.
Furthermore, Bitkub Chain Layer-2 can support health information exchange to achieve seamless integration and interoperability with various systems. The collaboration between Bitkub Chain and HealthTAG will be the starting point for elevating public health and promoting medical research and development in Thailand. Blockchain technology will enhance efficiency and security, and provide people with equal access to healthcare services.
Mr. Passakorn Pannok, Chief Executive Officer of Bitkub Blockchain Technology Co., Ltd., stated, "We are delighted to partner with HealthTAG. Our expertise in blockchain technology will enhance HealthTAG's capabilities in expanding the medical ecosystem and will enable users to access healthcare services more conveniently, securely, and efficiently."
