In its latest World's Best Hospitals 2025 ranking, announced on February 26, 2025 (U.S. time), Newsweek and Statista evaluated 250 of the top hospitals worldwide, publishing the results on www.newsweek.com. The ranking highlights:

  • Bumrungrad International Hospital has secured its place among the world's top 100 hospitals, achieving the 100th position out of 250 leading hospitals globally. This marks a significant improvement from last year's rank of 130, successfully reaching the hospital's 2024 corporate goal set earlier this year.
  • Bumrungrad remains the only Thai hospital to be ranked among the world's best for five consecutive years.
  • Bumrungrad continues to hold the No.1 position in Thailand, earning an outstanding score of 91.80%, significantly surpassing the second-ranked hospital, which scored 85.79%.

The World's Best Hospitals ranking by Newsweek and Statista is determined by a comprehensive methodology, assessing hospitals based on four key criteria:

  1. Expert Opinions - An extensive survey conducted among 85,000 healthcare professionals, including doctors, hospital managers, and medical experts from 2,400 hospitals across 30 countries.
  2. Patient Experience Data - Evaluating patient satisfaction, recommendation rates, and overall healthcare experiences.
  3. Hospital Quality Index - Analyzing key hospital performance metrics, including patient safety, hygiene measures, and staff-to-patient ratios.
  4. Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) - Incorporating patient treatment outcomes into the assessment.

The survey was conducted by Newsweek and Statista, a renowned German market research and analytics firm, between January 1 and December 31, 2024.

Artirat Charukitpipat, PhD, CEO of Bumrungrad International Hospital, expressed her pride in this milestone, stating: "This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our physicians, nurses, clinical professionals, and support teams, who uphold the highest standards of medical excellence every day.
