Bangchak Group is committed to promote sustainability by providing space for young people to engage in immersive and environmental conservation activities. Volunteer employees supported the "Environmental Education Unit" activity, which was conducted in three rounds, involving 17 schools and over 1,200 students across three Bangchak Group operational areas: Bangchak Sriracha Refinery in Chonburi, hosted by Bangchak Sriracha Plc.; Bang Pa-In Oil Terminal in Ayutthaya, hosted by BCPG Plc. and BBGI Plc.; and Bangchak Phra Khanong Refinery in Bangkok, hosted by Bangchak Corporation Plc.
During the program, students explored various environmental topics through innovative activities. They experienced a 360-degree immersive learning environment using Metaverse technology, studied the impact of climate change, ocean waste management, sustainable food consumption, biodiversity, and water quality, and participated in practical activities for daily life, such as waste separation and energy efficiency. The Environmental and Social Foundation (ESF) is a non-profit organization committed to environmental conservation and the protection of endangered species in Thailand. It leverages education as a key tool to raise environmental awareness and cultivate the next generation of conservation leaders.
