JLL (NYSE: JLL) today announced the appointment of Krit Pimhataivoot as Thailand Country Head and Head of Capital Markets, Thailand, with effect from July 1. Based in Bangkok, his appointment reinforces JLL's longer-term ambitions and ongoing commitment to Thailand as a key market within its broader Southeast Asia growth strategy.
As country head, Krit will assume responsibility for the firm's entire operations in Thailand, which will include oversight for JLL's business lines, balance sheet, development, and execution of strategy and advisory. He will also be charged with supporting clients in navigating Thailand's maturing real estate landscape and leading the in-country executive team.
"Thailand's real estate landscape has evolved rapidly in the past five years and given we expect this development to continue at a similar pace for the coming decade, we require agile and dynamic leadership to facilitate this next phase of growth. Krit is a natural leader who has transformed our Capital Markets platform in Thailand from peripheral to the undisputed market leader and has excelled as the market's unmatched investment advisor for complex deals and sophisticated client demands. Under his leadership, we believe that the high-performance culture cultivated under Krit's leadership in the Capital Markets team will seamlessly translate into broader responsibilities as Country Head for the dynamic Thailand market," says Michael Glancy, Managing Director - Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines & Vietnam, JLL
Krit will remain in his current role as Head of Capital Markets, Thailand, in addition to his broader responsibilities. He has been instrumental in developing JLL's real estate investment and advisory business as Head of Capital Markets, Thailand. In 2024, Krit's team achieved its fourth consecutive #1 investment advisory ranking as compiled by MSCI Real Assets, capturing a dominant 93.6% in Thailand. Upon his promotion, he will join the Southeast Asia leadership team for JLL.
To his expanded role, he brings broad and diversified experience. He has worked exclusively in real estate investments for JLL's Thailand team since 2019. Prior to this focus area, he spent five years in JLL's research and consultancy in a variety of roles.
"I'm honored to take on this role and lead JLL Thailand to the next phase of growth amidst the fast-changing real estate environment. We have the depth of talent, breadth of experience and track record of success, which provides a platform to build on the strong foundations and continually deliver above and beyond services for our diversified clients," said Pimhataivoot.
