The month began on April 9, 2025 with a donation of retired linens from the Housekeeping and Food and Beverage teams to Happy Dog Chiang Rai, repurposing materials for continued use in support of animal welfare and sustainable living. Building on this effort, on April 15 the Camp organised two clean-up efforts: one in the surrounding jungle and another in Wang Lao, a nearby village located along a popular hiking route. These actions reflected the Camp's ongoing commitment to environmental care and community connection. "Our team is deeply connected to this place, and they bring that care into everything they do. Earth Day gives us a chance to honour that connection and take pride in the role we all play," shared Paweena Waraha, Camp Manager.

That spirit of involvement continued through to Earth Day itself. On April 22, guests took part in a tree planting activity, contributing directly to the surrounding landscape. Later in the day, turndown service included a zero-waste sundried banana roll, prepared using traditional sun-drying methods with entirely natural ingredients. As the experience moved into the evening, guests enjoyed a plant-based amuse bouche, Watermelon Sashimi, a refreshing take on a classic that highlighted the purity of natural flavours. To complement the meal, organic wines were showcased, while sangria made with leftover red wine and seasonal ingredients was served at the pool and Burma Bar. "We want guests to feel inspired, not just informed. These kinds of mindful, hands-on experiences invite guests to slow down, take part, and walk away with something deeper than just a memory," added Paweena.

This commitment to sustainability extended beyond the guest experience, with staff also taking part in a range of initiatives. The Camp ran a Sustainable Commute Challenge, encouraging team members to carpool, cycle, walk, or take the staff shuttle. At the canteen, a Feel-Good Food Day featured a sustainable, plant-based menu, while garbage separation training helped strengthen daily waste management habits and reinforce the Camp's long-term environmental goals.

Sustainability remains at the heart of operations at Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle. From food preparation and guest experiences to transport and waste management, every action reflects a commitment to responsible tourism. Earth Day serves not only as a day of awareness but as part of a year-round dedication to environmental stewardship.
