The awards highlight Bangchak's success in corporate management across all dimensions, focusing on balanced growth by excelling in business while creating value for society and the environment. It reinforces Bangchak's role as a leader in innovation and sustainable social responsibility.
The Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Production Unit of Bangchak Group, operated by BSGF Co., Ltd., an affiliate of Bangchak Group, is Thailand's first production unit of 100% pure SAF, or Neat SAF, derived from used cooking oil and other alternative feedstocks, under an internationally certified system. The unit is scheduled to commence operations in the second quarter of 2025, with an initial production capacity of one million liters per day. This represents another significant milestone in Bangchak Group's pursuit of sustainable energy, inspired by the royal initiatives of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, which emphasize the development of renewable energy and the mindful utilization of resources. Neat SAF has the potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by more than 80 percent compared to conventional fuels, supporting the aviation industry's efforts to mitigate climate change and contributing to the advancement of the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) economy.
