Led by the hotel's Sustainability Committee, the event encouraged employees to participate in a symbolic tree-planting activity featuring the "Hua Jai Tosakan" (Heart of Tosakan) plant, a leafy green variety selected for its striking heart shape and environmental benefits. This initiative aimed to foster a deeper awareness of ecological responsibility and inspire a long-term commitment to preserving the planet.
Participants gathered at the staff canteen from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM to plant and take home their own leafy greens, symbolising personal action toward a more sustainable future. Through this simple yet powerful gesture, the hotel reinforced the message that every small step, every leaf planted, is part of a bigger change.
The activity is part of Chatrium's wider "Think First, Think Earth" program, highlighting the brand's vision for sustainable hospitality.Photo shows: Mr. Manfred ILG, General Manager (centre), led all staff in a tree-planting activity.
