Bang Kachao, often referred to as "the lungs of Bangkok," is a vital mangrove ecosystem that plays an essential role in carbon absorption, biodiversity preservation, and enhancing the quality of urban life. This year, Bangchak, in collaboration with local partners and the community, planted 950 trees across eight species, including Ironwood (Takian), Gurjun tree (Yangna), Hardwood tree (Maka), White Meranti (Payom), Siamese Rosewood, (Prasak Red Flower), Prasak White Flower, and two rare species, Merbau (Lumpho Talay) and Red Shorea (Daeng Nam), building on the nearly 1,000 trees planted in 2024. This effort is part of the ongoing collaborative development of the "Bangchak Fulfilling Societal Happiness Forest Park," envisioned as a shared center for rare plant conservation, nature-based learning, and sustainable ecological restoration driven by community and multi-stakeholder participation
