Bangkok - 17 October 2025 - MR. D.I.Y. Holding (Thailand) Public Company Limited has continued its collaboration with the Faculty of Management Sciences, Kasetsart University Sriracha Campus, to host the "Ultimate Marketing Plan Contest 2025" for the second consecutive year. The contest offered fourth-year students in the Digital Marketing and Branding program hands-on experience developing and presenting an integrated marketing communication (IMC) plan.
This year's contest challenged students to create marketing strategies under the theme "Made the Day at MR. D.I.Y. for Younger Generations (Gen Z)." The project was guided by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nipa Niruttikul, Lecturer in the Digital Marketing and Branding Program, together with Mr. Arnupharp Kongmalai, Vice President of Marketing, MR. D.I.Y. Thailand, as one of the judges.
The competition brought together 117 students from 9 teams to showcase their marketing ideas. It aimed to create an experiential learning platform where students could apply their knowledge in a real business context—developing strategic thinking, planning, and presentation skills, while receiving feedback from leading retail industry experts.
Igniting Learning Through Practical Real-World Experience
Before the contest, Mr. Arnupharp Kongmalai, Vice President of Marketing Department at MR. D.I.Y. Holding (Thailand) Public Company Limited, served as a guest speaker, sharing insights into the successful "Made the Day at MR. D.I.Y." campaign. He inspired students in the digital age to apply strategic and analytical thinking to create marketing approaches that resonate with younger audiences. "MR. D.I.Y. strongly believes in the power of experiential learning. This provides a platform for students to systematically design and plan marketing strategies based on real Gen Z consumer behaviours. We hope this project will help them to enhance their creativity, confidence, and professional skills as future marketers," said Mr. Arnupharp.
