The upcycled Christmas tree, themed "Kinetic Kaleido Christmas Tree: The Cosmic Origami of Light," embodies the harmony of art and technology. Its design features intricately layered origami-inspired modules, forming a shimmering metallic silver structure illuminated by gradient neon LED light trails. The geometric patterns, reminiscent of a living kaleidoscope, move gracefully with the wind, creating mesmerizing motion from every angle. Visitors can fully immerse themselves in this 360-degree light and color experience — as if stepping into a cosmic realm of luminous artistry.
Embodying the message of sustainability, this marks the 8th consecutive year of collaboration with GC, which has contributed to transforming used PET plastic bottles into beautiful, sparkling snowflake ornaments and windmill decorations for the Christmas tree. GC aims to empower everyone to participate in waste separation and create value from recycled materials.
Adding to the celebration is the "UPTOYOU" pop-up store, an upcycled fashion brand driven by a mission to maximize the use of natural resources efficiently and reduce greenhouse gas emissions through production and reuse processes. The brand utilizes 'Revife Fiber by GC Upcycling,' a sustainable innovation made from 100% upcycled plastic, to transform used water plastic bottles into fashionable apparel and accessories. The pop-up will be located on the 2nd floor from November 17-30, 2025.
Visitors can also join "The Art of Remaking: Personalize Workshop by GC" from November 17-23 and November 28-30, 2025, where participants can DIY and transform used plastic bottle caps into jewelry, keychains, and more. Shoppers who spend THB 1,000 or more per receipt at Siam Discovery can redeem a workshop pass. ONESIAM members can also redeem participation with 5 ONESIAM Coins. The workshop will be held on the 3rd floor of Siam Discovery.
