Mr. Arnupharp Kongmalai, Vice President of Marketing of MR. D.I.Y. Holding (Thailand) Public Company Limited, said, "MR. D.I.Y. is committed to supporting education, which serves as an essential foundation for creating opportunities and promoting sustainable social development. Therefore, we continue the 'Spreading Kindness' initiative by donating used calendars to produce learning materials under the MR. D.I.Y. Cares project. We invited all employees to contribute, collecting more than 180 used desk calendars, weighing over 90 kilograms. This activity has been conducted continuously for the fourth year to produce Braille learning materials and expand educational opportunities for the visually impaired, helping to build a learning society for all."
This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on Quality Education, and reflects the company's commitment to sustainable resource management under the Circular Economy principle. It also helps reduce landfill waste by more than 90 kilograms, equivalent to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by over 130 kilograms of carbon dioxide equivalent, thereby creating shared value for society and the environment.
MR.D.I.Y. continues to carry out social initiatives under the MR. D.I.Y. Cares project, and stands ready to provide help, support, and care to Thai communities nationwide through various activities covering Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) dimensions, with the aim of sustainably improving quality of life across Thai society.
