Bill Payment on the SCB EASY app now lets users apply their points across a broad range of everyday expenses, including utilities and energy, credit cards and loans, insurance, education-related fees, mobile and internet services, government services and taxes, investments, and donations via e-Donation (eligible for tax deduction in accordance with applicable regulations). Payments are supported via QR code scanning, barcode scanning, or by searching for the biller within the app, making both bill payment and points usage even more convenient.
How to pay bills with POINTX via Bill Payment on the SCB EASY app (5 simple steps):
- Open the SCB EASY app and tap "Scan QR Code / Barcode," or select "Bill Payment" to search for a biller.
- Scan the QR code or barcode, or search for the biller you need.
- Select "Pay with POINTX" to pay in full with points, or choose to combine points with money from your SCB account.
- Review the details and confirm the transaction.
- Track the transaction via Notification and Point History in the POINTX app.
