Ms. Orawan Sirichottirat, Head of Corporate Affairs & Government Relations, Central Food Wholesale Limited said GO WHOLESALE recognises that continuing economic volatility is affecting household finances and prompting consumers to spend more cautiously. Business operators are also under pressure to manage costs as efficiently as possible. She said the company therefore places strong emphasis on supporting and participating in government economic stimulus measures aimed at strengthening the grassroots economy. This includes the "Thais Help Thais at District Offices Nationwide" initiative, which has now been extended into its second phase. Ten GO WHOLESALE branches will once again operate booths offering consumer goods and food ingredients at affordable prices directly to local communities.
"In joining the second phase of the project, we have selected quality consumer goods for special promotions offering discounts of up to 50%. These include our own-brand products — A-CHOICE, SUPERSAVE, SIPP and YIM — as well as a wide range of alternative brands, which will be brought directly to participating locations for sale," Ms. Orawan said.
"The initiative is intended to help reduce household expenses while improving access to quality ingredients at value-for-money prices, enabling small retailers to lower their operating costs during a difficult period."
According to the Department of Business Development under the Ministry of Commerce, the first phase of the "Thais Help Thais at District Offices Nationwide" project was held at 878 locations and generated THB135.40 million in total sales. A total of 51,491 retailers took part, while more than 1.08 million people purchased goods through the project. The initiative helped reduce expenses and ease the public's cost-of-living burden by an estimated THB29.62 million.
GO WHOLESALE has supported the "Thais Help Thais at District Offices Nationwide" project since its launch on May 1, 2026. At the same time, it has run the "Thais Help Thais: Reducing Expenses and Easing Living Costs" campaign across all 14 branches and through its online channels, expanding public access to quality products at affordable prices while continuing to support government policies designed to ease household expenses.
