Established by Mr. Pravit Kobkulsuwan, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Thaisakol Group Company Limited, who began the business in 1975 with a wood and plywood venture, the company was among the first to import products from overseas for distribution in Thailand. In the early years, the business was still not well-known, leading Pravit to seek growth opportunities to further expand the company's operations. This eventually led to a transition into the metal industry, strengthened by strong partnerships with various business partners and suppliers.
'Thaisakol Group' expanded fully into the manufacturing industry, supplying products across more than 40 sectors, including wood, metal, paper, plastic, electronics, and more. Today, the business has been passed on to the second generation, led by Mr. Panitan Kobkulsuwan, the eldest son, who serves as Managing Director of Thaisakol Group Company Limited. According to Panitan, the key factor that has earned Thaisakol Group the continuous trust of its customers for 50 years lies in the company's core DNA: never stopping, always developing, and adapting to the latest customer needs.
Panitan noted that throughout the past 50 years, Thaisakol Group products have continued to be in demand in the market. The company has also prioritized the introduction of new technologies, including automation systems and laser technology, to provide customers with comprehensive end-to-end solutions. Experience passed on from generation to generation is applied to fit the times, expanding the customer base, importing new products, and ensuring a true 'one-stop service' covering import, distribution, maintenance, after-sales service, and consultation.
"Another key reason why Thaisakol has been able to operate successfully to this day is our team of more than 200 employees, including those in sales, sales support, production, and service. Everyone plays a vital role in driving the company forward with a mindset of never standing still, always developing, and continually adapting. In addition, all of our partners are global leaders across Asia, Europe, and the United States, well-known for their expertise in their respective product fields. We are not only focused on today but also looking ahead to prepare ourselves to meet future needs."

In addition to the metal industry business, new ventures have also been established and managed by the second generation. The subsequent business expansion began with the development of a boutique-style shophouse hotel named K Maison Boutique Hotel. This later grew into several restaurant brands, including Kay's, a brunch-style restaurant, DAY By Kay's, known for beverages and bakery, KANORI Hand Roll Bar, the first Japanese fusion hand roll bar in Thailand, and KAYAKI, the first premium Japanese grilled fish and seafood restaurant in Thailand.
